I am happy to announce that I am the new Adopt A Social Worker coordinator in the Western Region! For over two years I have been the program coordinator for the areas served by the Willimantic, Norwich, Middletown and Meriden D.C.F. offices. The new Western Region is comprised of the areas served by Danbury, Waterbury, Meriden, Middletown and New Haven.
I am very fortunate to have inherited the New Haven, Waterbury and Danbury regions from two fabulous coordinators Meral Prewitt and Betty Tompkins. I plan to continue their good work by serving in the same spirit of caring and commitment, so that together we will continue to make a positive difference for the children and youth who suffer from abuse and neglect.
My priorities in the coming months will be scheduling covenant signings and renewals, and getting to know each of my new volunteers. My new contact information is below. Please make a note of the new satellite office address and fax number.
I consider myself blessed to work with all of our volunteer social workers, congregation liaisons and D.C.F. office contacts. I truly appreciate the sacrifices you make in time and resources for the good of our children and youth.
