Office Volunteer

Description:   This person will provide office support to our staff. Responsibilities include one or more of the following: answering the phone, filing, updating database information, photocopying, completing mailings, and special projects.
Requirements:   Good communication and organizational skills, basic computer skills (Word, Internet Explorer)

Critical Goods Delivery Program Support
     

Description:

 

Sturdy volunteer needed to assist agency driver with pick-up and delivery of furniture and home goods. Household items such as kitchen tables and chairs are collected from donors and delivered to families in need Monday through Friday and occasionally on Saturdays. Pick-up and delivery takes place mostly in the greater Hartford area using agency vehicle.

Requirements:

 

Applicants must be able to safely lift 80 pounds. A copy of a valid driver's license and proof of insurance are also needed.

Critical Goods Delivery Program Support

     

Description:

 

This person will work closely with the Critical Goods Program Coordinator to expedite the pick-up and delivery of donated furniture items to impoverished families throughout the greater Hartford area. Responsibilities include scheduling pick-up and delivery times via phone and data entry.

Requirements:

 

This person should possess good communication skills, be organized and have knowledge of Microsoft Access.
